The works that appear under the title TAFAA - ONLY RELICS FEED THE DESERT are distinguished by the way latex and artificial light become sensitive surfaces of revelations, appearances between painting and photography. Transfer printing shows an encapsulated image between the layers of this skin-interface. These almost blurred figures come from an iconography from a vernacular web where the origin is diluted in its virality and appropriation. They thus become volatile icons as values of symbolic and political exchange.
